We may make changes to the terms of this policy
We amend these terms from time to time. Every time you wish to use our site, please check these terms to ensure you understand the terms that apply at that time.
Mozzie Cozzie’s Terms and Conditions policies are provided in a layered format so you can click through to the specific areas set out below…
MADE IN THE UK POLICY
Each Mozzie Cozzie® creation is 100% authentically Made-in-UK with love by local and well-established makers to support communities and reduce the brand’s carbon footprint.
We are local before we are global. We currently make-to-order and deliver locally to UK addresses (including those via Poste Restante).
We currently partner with Reship.com, Shippn.com and Forward2Me for outside UK shipping options.
- these are well-established dispatch firms who ship abroad whilst dealing with import duties, taxes for global shipping etc.
In addition, we are currently testing international delivery services with Royal Mail and you can find out more about these, here.
or contact us directly with your questions at contact us.
DELIVERY POLICY
It is our policy to produce made-on-demand garments in an educational, social enterprise and heritage factories in the UK.
On-demand shopping has the positive effect of reducing over-consumption. All our products are not made in batch or stored in batches in warehouses.
This decision allows us to offer our customer the best price possible. Our fabrics and components are bought by the metre and we are therefore able to offer customers choice in colours that would not normally be possible for a young company.
We are grateful to our manufacturers for supporting us with this policy of choice, steady supply and slow delivery - together we are not mass producing, fast fashion.
We are grateful to all our customers for supporting this production model by purchasing goods directly from us in this way.
The delivery time for your Mozzie Cozzie items is therefore 6-8 weeks from ordering via our shop which allows time for fabric, component delivery from UK-based suppliers to us for quality control and time for our manufactures to receive, schedule and make your order. It is then that our hand-packed parcels can be dispatched with care and delivery planned with a ‘first time right’ receiving in mind.
SHIPPING POLICY
Our shipping partners are carefully selected and undergo regular audits or mystery shops (including competitor service comparison tests). These are conducted by our trained customer panel. We use objective methodology to ensure the shipping service we select is the best it can be for our customers.
As with all shipping partners, our selected partner is subject to market conditions at any given time as well as results of our in real life customer tests. Our provider can therefore change from time to time. Any changes to our shipping service will be listed in our Terms & Conditions accordingly here.
UK SHIPPING
We currently use a UK-based service, delivering in the UK only. This is in line with our made-in-UK brand standards. You can read more information about this and their sustainability commitment here
We use Royal Mail’s business solution called Parcel Force Tracked services and the cost of this shipping service is separate to the cost of your order and added at check-out.
For example 1kg small parcels - Mozzie Cozzie i.e. jumpsuit, hood, mask and bag weighs under 1kg - cost £4.25 for UK delivery and take 2-3 business or working days.
The signed for service is insured for losses of £50.
The service offer in our current check-out is called Royal Mail Signed For 2nd Class - is a slower post choice, with a low carbon footprint. We believe this service allows more time to plan to receive the delivery as well as reducing the need for environmental pressures associated with express services. For example, the average data for this delivery service is 204g CO2e compared to their fastest business express services.
You can read more information about why we choose this service here.
UK DELIVERY TIMES
Orders are placed upon full payment receipt into Mozzie Cozzie’s® business account. Orders are dependent on available UK-supplier stocks (not guaranteed).
Our customers are kept informed of any unexpected delays by email to the address provided with the order.
TRACKING DISPATCH
Upon ordering with full payment receipt, Mozzie Cozzie® sends out a confirmation email detailing the order, including when it has been shipped.
CUSTOMS & DUTIES
Mozzie Cozzie® ships to the UK only at this time.
Our website prices displayed do not therefore include taxes and duties payable for shipping internationally and we are not able to redirect your order once it is sent out to a UK-only address.
We are not responsible for any matter regarding the custom policies, custom clearances, delays or administrative fees and duties that may apply in customer’s country should you chose to employ a company to service this.
Please note that if International Orders are shipped as delivery duty unpaid (“DDU”), to release your goods, the customer may need to pay taxes and duties at their customs.
Please also note that anyone at the delivery address who receives the goods shall be presumed to be authorised to receive the goods on the customer’s behalf.
PRODUCTS & PRICING POLICY
We are a small UK company and make in the UK so our prices are listed in GBP (VAT inclusive). They remain subject to change and we pledge to keep our customers informed of any impact on costs, or if any products will be discontinued e.g. material price increases that would not be absorbed by our operational costs that we already keep to the minimum and are transparent about in the diagram below.
For customers outside of the UK or with other currencies, the price paid will reflect the currency exchange rates on the day of transaction and will be in accordance with your card owner. Currently, you will need to provide a valid UK address to receive the signed for goods. Please note the Royal Mail postal signed delivery service we offer does not deliver to PO Boxes (there is no signatory).
For customers paying in non-GBP, bank fees, import duties, customs and local sales taxes may apply and be in addition to the prices listed in our shop. These depend on the country where the product is shipped and will normally be due before you receive your order, no matter what UK-addressee service provider you use.

UK Research & Development to delight and surprise our customers
We list our suppliers here.
For raw materials not available in UK, we source responsible suppliers listed on Open Supply Hub, recommended and tested by industry experts and present at sustainably conscious trade show we regularly attend. As we develop further our research & development activities, we are working to offer UK Made components e.g. for metal beads, mask nose wires and other items indicated above * we are in dialogue with British sourcing Guilds. If you are a UK company, producing such components locally in the UK, please do not hesitate to connect with us, product testing is very much part of our DNA and our current samples may be deployed to efficiently test in the field any new suppliers.
HOW WE OFFER RETURNS FOR LIFE…
Sometimes we don’t get things right, be it you, the customer, or us, the brand.
All mistakes create opportunity to learn and there are some things we can all do to help one another have a great purchasing experience.
Here’s our common sense checklist:
Before your purchase, please carefully look over all size options and available colours, because getting things spot on first time does wonders for the planet, as well as us humans!
Review purchases again, with an eagle eye upon receipt, before snipping off the attached Lenzing quality tag and before recycling any of the original packaging.
All our products are handmade, if you find a fault upon receipt - one that escaped our quality control - please let us know immediately by emailing Itch2Stitch@mozziecozzie.com. Please include a photo of the fault if possible, to we can best prepare to rectify it efficiently with proper and timely service recovery e.g. we will let you know if it is a manufacturing fault and if so consider options on how to repair it for you, as well as update our quality checks for other customers without delay.
In the same spirit, we are open to you choosing to return an item to us, for example if you change your mind about the colour for example. Should you chose to do so, we advise using tracked postage so that we both know once we receive your original packaged goods for the exchange process. We are a young business working through covering our set up costs and do not cover the cost of sending any such items back to us.
We do not offer free returns, only free postage for replacement fulfillment on items deemed for customer exchanges at our discretion.
A reminder: any refund request returns which have been worn and/or where tags have been removed will not be refunded. If your return is for a refund, the product must be received unused, in a saleable condition with all tags attached.
Please note, we video the opening all our returns.
To request a return, please follow the process below:
you email us first at, returns@mozziecozzie.com to request a return form.
we reply on email same day with your printable return request form. This includes your order number, your purchase date, and the *date our records show you received your original tracked dispatch.
you then post the goods including the form (complete with date & signed) and so that we can receive them within 28-calendar days of the date on which you received your order of these goods (*as per above recorded date). It is your responsibility to track a return through the post to ensure that Mozzie Cozzie receives it safely. We partner with a tracking postal service backed by good reviews.
we quality control check them and we confirm receipt and or confirm whether the return is accepted or not on email. Specifically, all items deemed ‘faulty’ returned by a customer i.e. due to production damage will under go quality control upon receipt. If they show excessive wear and tear, or are not received by us within 28-calendar days of our sending them to you by tracked post, we may not accept the return/exchange. We can not be held responsible for any items damaged in the post, i.e. for shipping damage - this is the responsibility of the shipping partner and all complaints must be directed to them. Mozzie Cozzie will do their best to assist customers because we take shipping damage comments seriously e.g. we use any customer return examples as part of our regular auditing of shipping partners to ensure we offer the best service we can to you and all our customers.
we may offer to return your purchased goods to you (free of charge) should your return be rejected, or depending on the exchange experience and at our discretion, you may be offered a Mozzie Cozzie gift card for the same value of these goods or less. We offer this because we always try to re-purpose all our products and components to give them a second life and support a circular economy, one that reduces consumption and waste.
We politely and assertively ask all shoppers to abide by these common sense rules. This is for the benefit of everyone’s future shopping so that brands do not have to pass the cost of excessive returns back to customers.
It is in this way, Mozzie Cozzie can simply absorb the legitimate returns in our operating costs whilst sustaining our focus on our helping customers get it right first time and enjoy their purchases from day one.
We believe we must all take responsibility for our environment and fellow humans.
Take your time to choose, ask if you need help and make your choices really good ones.
