Fantastic - no plastic!

Have you heard of micro-plastics?

Now you can find out what’s going on inside your body via a blood test.

(It’s got Pathology itself is thinking about their plastic - we spotted a poster showing the Royal Cornwall Hospital’s efforts!)

It is now common to find big, medium or small sized plastics existing inside ourselves - the big particles are better, but end up as smaller particles as we age.

You can now discover how many you have!

Once they are in, they are in and you need to care if you value your health long term.

There are indeed ways to avoid them from considering the things you buy for your home, to what you put in your mouth, to what’s in contact with your skin …so that includes the type of clothes you wear the most.

If you’ve not cut the label off - don’t do that - it kills re-sale value! - check for plastic fiber content in those favourite clothing items.

Particularly the things you tend to slob around or throw on to scoot out the door in - your ‘go-to items’.

It is not just everyday exposure to vector borne diseases that we need to watch out. When we are talking contaminated blood, these micro-plastics are causing long-term harm to planet and people.

When the micro-fibre blood test costs £200, removal of particles costs c. £10,000.

When more than 80% of our global population is at risk from insect carrying diseases (The Lancet) and £5 billion a year is spent on insect repellent alone, never mind the $70 billion spent on the medical consequences (Nature.com) of invasive insects - we think it’s worth backing our global award-winning invention.

We believe in natural fiber clothing over synthetic materials.

We say it comes down to choice of how you spend your money on clothing - maybe tot up just how much you already have, what you spend on more each year and consider dodging that plastic bullet as much as you would an insect that bites!

Mozzie Cozzie fibers are not plastic.

Our textile products contain 100% TENCEL™

branded fibers. These fibers are derived from controlled or certified wood sources and are naturally soft and smooth to the touch. They are not sweaty like plastic clothes, because TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are unfavorable to odor-causing bacteria.

Mozzie Cozzie has recycled components. Our buttons are recycled nuts, our elastic is recycled rubber and where plastics are the current solution, they are recycled products (as much as possible for our YKK zip, with 100% recycled feed stock for all our labels, elastic and net).

Right down to our unboxing experience, we swerve creating micro plastics.

Even our delivery boxes are UK-made-on-demand and 100% recycled, our stationery inserts and our paper wrap.
